Take a trip into the morally grey world of Mike Wolly and vigilante justice.
Take a trip into the morally grey world of Mike Wolly and vigilante justice.
Anthony Karrier was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, a tough border city shaped by industry and resilience. The son of a cop and a schoolteacher, Anthony started boxing at nine years old, training under the firm but steady guidance of his father. Those early lessons in discipline, endurance, and survival became cornerstones of his life.
Like many who grew up navigating the realities of industrial city streets, Anthony learned some of life’s toughest lessons firsthand. On his own at 17, he had several run-ins with law enforcement. After growing tired of the police testing their batons on his head, he decided to make some changes and joined the Ironworkers Union. Over the years, he has traveled extensively for work, and found not just a career but a brotherhood.
An avid reader, Anthony set out to break away from the cookie-cutter "good cops vs. bad criminals" narrative that dominates crime fiction. Instead, he writes about the harsh realities many people face when dealing with law enforcement, shining a light on the struggles, resilience, and strength it takes to survive. His work pulls no punches, reflecting the world as many see it, not as we wish it to be.
With his troubled youth and checkered past behind him, Anthony has found happiness and stability with his wife, Mitch, and their two children. When he’s not hanging iron or writing, he can usually be found coaching fighters, pushing his motorcycle to the limits, or trying to wrangle in his psychotic French Bulldog, Orbit.
